GYN Oncology Institute
– Gynecologic cancers, or cancer of the reproductive organs, are some of
the most prevalent forms of cancer. This facility is staffed by GYN oncology
experts who offer state of the art, highly effective treatment, and outstanding
Lung Screening Program – Methodist Hospital offers a low-dose CT scan that is quick, easy, and
painless with minimal exposure to radiation. Lung cancer is the leading
cause of cancer death worldwide. A yearly screening with low-dose CT has
been shown to save lives by finding lung cancer earlier when it’s
easier to treat.
Lymphedema Care – Lymphedema is the swelling that can happen in your arms or legs after
damage occurs to your lymph nodes or when your lymph nodes are removed
as part of cancer treatment. While there is no cure for this ailment,
lymphedema can be treated best with early diagnosis and focused care on

Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation – Pelvic floor rehabilitation is designed to improve the strength and function
of the muscles that support your bladder, urethra, and organs within the
pelvis. Our team of physical therapists provides a precise program for
muscle reconditioning by using the principles of physical therapy, including
pelvic muscle exercise and electrical stimulation of the muscles. For

Positive Appearance Center - This center provides free personal consultations in a private setting
to help you manage changes that come during various stages of cancer and
its treatment. This includes free wig consultations with more than 300
donated, high quality wigs to choose from, as well as consultations for

Stepping Forward- Surviving cancer comes with its own set of challenges. Stepping Forward
is a support group intended to help participants recover physically and

Cancer Resource Center - One of the challenging aspects of cancer care is sorting out the overwhelming
amount of information out there about the disease and its treatment. The
Cancer Resource Center is a support facility where you can ask knowledgeable
cancer professionals all of your questions about the disease. You can
visit us in person or call us whenever you need a question answered. The
center is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on
