"Surgery in Advanced Cancer" with Aaron Lewis, MD
Surgery isn’t often used to treat advanced cancer but can help in
some cases. It can help you feel better or give you a better quality of
life. Dr. Lewis will discuss how surgery may still play a role in advanced cancer.
Dr. Lewis is a board-certified surgeon broadly trained in all aspects of
surgical oncology with a particular interest in complex gastrointestinal
surgery and endocrine surgery.

Atia Shah, MD
Colds and the flu have so much in common that it can sometimes be hard
to tell them apart. Both are caused by viruses that infect your airways.
They have some of the same symptoms that can leave you feeling miserable.
Dr. Atia Shah will explain the difference between a cold and the flu—how
it is transmitted, prevented, and how to treat it.
Dr. Shah is a board-certified in infectious disease at Methodist Hospital.
