Women Investing in Nurses (WIN)
WIN is comprised of a group of women committed to supporting education
for all nurses at Methodist Hospital of Southern California. Nurses are
at the front line of patient care and a well-trained nurse can make all
the difference in the life of a patient. Research shows that specialized
nursing education helps nurses develop skills to improve patient outcomes.
Funds are raised through our Annual Tea and individual member contributions.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, our 9th Annual Afternoon Tea has been cancelled
for the safety of the community. We hope we can gather with everyone soon.
In the meantime, we want to continue to make a positive impact for nurses
– our frontline heroes.
more than ever, the need for well-trained critical care nurses has never
been clearer. The current shortage of nurses throughout the region, including Methodist
Hospital of Southern California, has a direct impact on our ability to
serve our community, and we are asking for your help to address this challenge.
We are asking for your gift today to help us support the training of new critical care nurses at Methodist
Hospital. Your gift will directly support our ability to hire, train,
and certify new critical nurses to serve our community as frontline healthcare heroes.
As a committee, we have given $15,000 to support nursing education for
critical care nurses and more at Methodist Hospital.
We challenge you, our friends and fellow supporters, to match our giving
so we can raise a total of $30,000 for this important cause!
Funds from WIN in past years have provided specialized training for nurses
in the care of cardiac, stroke and cancer patients, as well as preventing
falls hospital-wide. Ongoing training allows an already well-trained nursing
staff to get the latest information on how to provide targeted care for
everyone who walks through our doors.
Donate today to see your gift make an impact for our frontline workers
Thank you for your generosity.
