Cancer Survivorship Program - Stepping Forward
Are you a cancer survivor? Are you ready to move forward? Stepping Forward
is a free body-and-mind strengthening program for survivors of any type
of cancer. Stepping Forward is a support group intended to help participants
recover physically and emotionally after their cancer treatment.
Led by physical and occupational therapists, this body-and-mind strengthening
program includes exercise/fitness classes, seminars on nutrition, pain
management, meditation, community resources and more.
- Survivors of any type of cancer, during or after cancer treatment are invited
to participate
- Class is free, sponsored by USC Arcadia Hospital
- We offer educational seminars from MDs, specialists, survivors once/month
as part of the program
- Participants need to complete paperwork prior to participating in the class
Classes are held twice a week (Monday & Wednesday) for five weeks 5-6:30
p.m. in the Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Center. Class size
