Tickets & Sponsorships
This year’s festivities will honor Ron and Nan Okum for their commitment
and dedication to Methodist Hospital and our community. With the leadership
of event co-chairs Christine Antonovich and Mickey Segal, this promises
to be a successful fundraiser and friend-raiser for Methodist Hospital.
Crystal Ball began 27 years ago as an elegant affaire designed to recognize
hospital donors and was held on the roof of the north parking structure
at Methodist Hospital.
With its popularity increasing each year, Crystal Ball evolved into an
annual fundraising gala and has become “the” social event of the year in the San Gabriel Valley. Throughout
its history it has generated more than $7.5 million to support such programs
as the Rehabilitation Unit, Cardiac, Stroke, Emergency Services, and the
Next Generation of Care Campus Transformation at Methodist Hospital. Featured
entertainers over the years have included Kenny Loggins, Paul Anka, The
Beach Boys, Smokey Robinson, Natalie Cole and Kenny G.
A year ago, Crystal Ball featured “An Evening with The Fab Four” where the tribute to the mop-topped lads from Liverpool attracted more
than 700 guests at the Pasadena Convention Center. Revelers enjoyed an
evening of fine dining, exciting auctions and wonderful entertainment.
The event, co-chaired by Tom and Jeri Beck and Paul and Mary Bigley, raised
$532,000 to benefit Methodist Hospital’s Advanced Primary Stroke
Program and Neuro-Interventional Service.
