Throughout the year, our USC Arcadia Hospital Foundation hosts many events
to raise awareness on fundraising activities as well as introduce our
hospital to our community and friends. Our fun-filled, most anticipated
fundraising events of the year are our annual Mardi Gras Food Festival
and Crystal Ball.
Mardi Gras is held each year on “Fat Tuesday,” welcomes more than 700
local community members and businesses and more than two dozen restaurants
to the "beads and boas" celebration, traditionally held at Sirona's
Restaurant, Santa Anita Park in Arcadia. Our Fat Tuesday celebration grows
more popular with each year.
Crystal Ball has become for many “the” social event of the San Gabriel
Valley. It is traditionally held in October at the Pasadena Convention Center.
Throughout its history, Crystal Ball has generated more than $7.5 million
dollars in support of USC Arcadia Hospital and its programs such as stroke,
emergency services, maternal/child care, advanced technology and innovative
treatments for patients and their families.
