This
two day virtual course is essential for all first-time expectant parents, as it will help to
prepare you and your partner for labor and delivery. Students receive
an “Understanding Birth” guidebook which explores the topics
of the signs of labor, when to go to the hospital, breathing techniques,
relaxation and massage, common medical procedures, including explanations
of epidurals and cesarean birth, the role of the labor support person,
and insight into the hospital and postpartum experience for both mother
and baby. Additionally, you will be given access to an Mobile App that
will keep all of this information at your fingertips as you prepare for
and experience the birth of your baby.
You must register online to secure your spot in class. After which, we
will email you an invitation to a Zoom meeting for the class date and time.
