Major debilitative disorders such as stroke, fracture, arthritis, and a variety of other conditions can cause physical as well as emotional problems. Our rehabilitation program helps patients and families develop skills to cope with these concerns.
The rehabilitation team consists of nurses, occupational and physical therapists, speech pathologists, social workers, dietitians, and a neuropsychologist. The team is coordinated and led by a physician specially trained in rehabilitative medicine. The team works together to plan the care of the patient with the goal to return the patient to the highest level of functioning possible. Family involvement is encouraged.
