The Cancer Resource Center
We're Here To Help...

At Methodist Hospital our mission is to provide high-quality healing services to the residents of the San Gabriel Valley. We care for you as a whole person by providing emotional and spiritual support as well as physical treatment. One of the diseases that we provide these healing services for is Cancer.

In 1985, Methodist Hospital established the Cancer Program and it has maintained approval from the American College of Surgeon's Commission on Cancer ever since. Comprehensive care of our cancer patients has always been an integral part of fulfilling our mission. Methodist Hospital delivers highly sophisticated cancer treatment, but we understand that technology is not the most important aspect of cancer care. Our primary goal is to view each person as a whole, in an atmosphere of compassion.

Methodist Hospital offers the most advanced cancer diagnostics, treatment and personalized care, including:

  • Free yearly screenings
  • Diagnosis - including the San Gabriel Valley 's first hospital- based Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
  • Treatment - all aspects of care including an advanced radiation therapy program, chemotherapy, prostate seed program, surgery, pain management, and cancer support groups.
