Thomas Hoffman

Thomas Hoffman is a partner at Hoffman & Andrews in Sierra Madre, California.  Mr. Hoffman’s practice includes estate planning, probate, probate litigation, real estate, business transactions and business litigation. Mr. Hoffman opened this office in July of this year with Ashley Andrews, an attorney whose primary practice is family law.  Prior to forming this new firm, Mr. Hoffman was a partner at Patten, Faith & Sandford in Monrovia, California, having first started with Patten, Faith & Sandford in 1993.  At Patten, Faith & Sandford, he worked closely with William Faith and developed an estate planning and probate practice.

Mr. Hoffman received his juris doctorate at the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law, graduating Order of the Coif in 1981 and was admitted to the State Bar of California that same year.  He received his undergraduate degree in accounting and finance from the University of California at Berkeley, Undergraduate School of Business Administration.

Mr. Hoffman was born in Pasadena, California and grew up primarily in Sierra Madre, California.  He now resides in Sierra Madre with his wife and two teenage children.  In his spare time, he plays in two basketball leagues, one for players over-40 and the other for players over-50, (still waiting for that career ending injury) and works on a variety of home improvement projects, some of which he actually finishes.
