
Robbin Okamoto, DDS
A resident of Arcadia since 1976, Robbin Okamoto has held a private dental practice since 1971 in Pasadena, California. He graduated from USC in 1965 and from Creighton University Dental School in 1969. He was a Captain in the Army Dental Corps from 1969-1971 during Vietnam and was on staff at Huntington Hospital from 1971-1974.
Dr. Okamoto has served on the Advisory Board of Directors for the Salvation Army from 1987-1992 and served two years on their Executive Board. He also served on the Advisory Board of Directors for Operation Sound from 1985-1987, which is a national ministry for the hearing impaired. He has served on the PCC Board of Directors Dental Assistant School from 1989-2001 and the governing board of Lake Avenue Church from 1990-1993 and 2004-2007, which is a church of over 5,000 members. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of Directors for Walter Hoving Home since 1998, is a member and committee chair of the American Dental Society of San Gabriel Valley since 1971 and is a member of the San Gabriel Dental Implant Society.
Married to Arlene for 42 years, the Okamotos have two sons, Scott who is a writing professor at Azusa Pacific and Brian, a lawyer for the Orange County Courts. Both graduated from Arcadia Schools. Arlene is the Senior Services Coordinator for Methodist Hospital.
