2009 Crystal Ball - An Evening of Rhythm & Romance with Kenny G

Methodist Hospital Foundation will sponsor the 20th annual Crystal Ball, a fundraising gala that raises money to support Methodist Hospital.  Recently, funds raised have benefited areas such as Cardiac Services, the Maternal Child Health Center, Advanced Technology and Innovative Treatments for patients and the Next Generation of Care Campus Transformation.  In the history of this event, it has generated over $3.7 million with the 2008 Crystal Ball raising more than $275,000 and attended by 1,000 guests.   

The Crystal Ball 2008 set a very high standard as it raised the bar, not only for the total funds raised and the number of guests in attendance but also for introducing headline entertainment for the first time, featuring Paul Anka. The audience’s reception made it evident that adding this component to the event, elevated the energy of the evening and brought forth positive feedback from guests in attendance.  We are excited to announce that Crystal Ball 2009 will also feature its own headliner with the jazzy romantic sounds of Kenny G.

Proceeds from this event will benefit The Campaign for Methodist Hospital supporting the hospital’s plan to create The Next Generation of Care.  A new patient tower is under construction that will house advanced medical technology and information systems to provide exceptional care in a healing environment.
