Aug. 31, 2011) Legendary entertainer Paul Anka will return to Methodist Hospital Foundation
The black-tie gala will benefit the hospitalThe new 26-bed Hollfelder Emergency Care Center will have all private patient rooms, four new critical care rooms and five specialty rooms.
Longtime hospital supporters Alan and Sandy Whitman will be the special honorees at this 22nd annual fundraising celebration for the hospital. Co-chairs are Mickey Segal and his wife Lee, along with last yearo-chair, Christine Antonovich.
Mickey, a Methodist Hospital Foundation board member, and Lee have chaired the event twice before and helped develop the event into a premiere fundraising affair.
Held annually at the Pasadena Convention Center, the Crystal Ball is always widely anticipated, with this year being no exception. Headliner Paul Anka is known for putting on a very entertaining show. The international singer, composer will embark on a two months international tour ending in the United States at the end of December. After the Crystal Ball event, he leaves for Europe in conjunction with his new Christmas album and personal appearance tour.
